Dalvin La Melodía musical success in Puerto Rico

Overview

Dominican urban artist Dalvin La Melodía has experienced significant commercial success in Puerto Rico through his ‘La Otra’ concert series. Following a series of sold-out performances, including shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, the artist faced social media controversy regarding a tattoo of the Puerto Rican flag, though observers viewed the gesture as a symbol of shared Caribbean identity.

Building on this momentum, La Melodía released a remix of his bachata track ‘Me despido’ in collaboration with Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi. The single has already reached the number one position on charts in Argentina and Chile.

This collaboration coincides with Luis Fonsi’s preparations for his ‘Mar Infinito Tour 2027’, which is scheduled to begin in Puerto Rico before traveling through Latin America, Europe, North America, and Asia. The milestone also marks the 28th anniversary of Fonsi’s debut album, ‘Comenzaré’. Due to high demand for La Melodía, additional concert dates in Puerto Rico are scheduled to continue through January 2027.
