Damallsvenskan women's football championship race

Overview

Häcken established a commanding lead in the Damallsvenskan standings after a 3–0 victory over Hammarby. The win moved Häcken eight points clear at the top of the table with four rounds remaining, positioning them to potentially secure a second consecutive Swedish championship.

Following their loss, Hammarby player Stina Lennartsson criticized the team for lacking heart. Hammarby later secured a 3–0 derby win against Djurgården, highlighted by an own goal and a red card for Djurgården's Emma Holmqvist. Despite this momentum, Häcken remains in a position to clinch the title depending on the outcome of their upcoming match against Kristianstad.
