Overview

Astronomical research into dark energy has reached significant milestones through large-scale observational surveys and the development of new space-based technology.

The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) has completed a five-year observing campaign using the Mayall Telescope, recording spectra for over 47 million galaxies and quasars.
