DAZN expands and shifts UEFA football streaming rights

Overview

In July 2026, DAZN announced a multi‑year deal to stream every match of the UEFA Nations League final phase and all qualifiers for Euro 2028, including a selection of international friendlies. Starting with the 2027/28 season, the landscape of European club football coverage in Germany will shift significantly. DAZN will lose the UEFA Champions League rights after the 2026/27 season, as those rights transition to Paramount+ and Amazon. In exchange, DAZN will take over the broadcasting rights for both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. For the Conference League, DAZN will hold the German and Swiss rights, while Austria’s rights will move to Canal+.
