On 27 July 2026, DAZN Italy announced an expansion of its Serie A coverage, keeping exclusive rights through 2029 while adding new subscription tiers and a pay-per-view option for pre-season friendly matches. Most friendlies are included in the Full and Family plans, but some clubs, such as Napoli, remain PPV-only. Three days later, on 30 July 2026, DAZN introduced a statutory 14-day cancellation right for Italian users, aligning with the Italian Consumer Code. On 18 August 2026, DAZN launched ‘Full Mobile’, a 19.99 euro per month tier restricted to smartphone viewing via the DAZN app, excluding smart TVs, computers, and casting functions. This was followed on 20 August 2026 by a strategic partnership with Fantacalcio to integrate commercial and editorial content. This collaboration includes a feature allowing users to subscribe to ‘Full Mobile’ via the Fantacalcio app to receive free access to the Premium version of the Leghe Fantacalcio app, as well as the debut of the ‘Fantacalcio Night’ program on DAZN. By 26 August 2026, DAZN updated its pricing and service offerings for the 2026/27 Serie A season. Tiers include ‘FULL’, ‘FAMILY’, ‘GOAL’, and ‘MYCLUBPASS’, with monthly costs reaching up to 71.99 euros. The platform will broadcast all 380 matches. Concurrently, Lega Serie A acquired a 51% stake in Quadronica SRL, the company holding rights to major Italian fantasy football platforms, following the integration of live fantasy scores into DAZN broadcasts. DAZN also offered select free content, including Serie BKT matches, through 30 August 2026. On 3 September 2026, DAZN announced a schedule of free sporting events available through 20 September 2026, provided users register on a dedicated webpage. This free programming includes Formula 4 races in Imola and Misano, the Ferrari Challenge Europe, Segunda División football, the Timbersports European Trophy, and Serie A Enilive Fantacalcio Night.
