Lucija (Luce) Mamić passed away at the age of 96. Her funeral was held at the Mirogoj cemetery in Zagreb. The service was marked by the absence of her sons, Zdravko and Zoran Mamić, who could not attend due to their legal status. Both men are currently residing in Bosnia and Herzegovina to avoid prison sentences handed down by the Croatian judiciary. Zdravko Mamić specifically faces arrest if he returns to Croatia following a final prison sentence. While their brother Stojan Mamić was able to attend, along with Zdravko’s son, Marije, the sons remain fugitives from the Croatian justice system.
