Following his death, a funeral was held on August 26 at the Anglican Church in his hometown of Birzeit. Tributes have been offered by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, the A. M. Qattan Foundation, and various international artistic institutions, noting his role in elevating Palestinian art to global platforms.
