Authorities in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman at the Metropolitan Center complex. Initial reports indicated a woman was found lifeless in a room at the Hotel Safi with signs of violence, while a 28-year-old man from Nuevo Laredo was found dead near the parking area after reportedly falling from a high floor. As the investigation progressed, the Nuevo León Attorney General's Office identified the deceased as 25-year-old Yoalitzi Lizbeth Juárez Cabrera and 28-year-old Roberto Eduardo Caballero. Investigators are examining the hypothesis that Caballero killed Juárez Cabrera before taking his own life by jumping from the complex. The pair had reportedly been staying at the hotel since August 14. New developments in the investigation indicate that Caballero Reyes allegedly caused the death of Juárez Cabrera through asphyxiation. Additionally, a posthumous note was recovered from the scene.
