The luxury watch industry is increasingly utilizing decentralized exhibition formats that integrate brand showcases into local city landscapes rather than centralized venues. In the United States, Watch Week Aspen recently concluded its third edition in Colorado, attracting over 300 collectors to the Rocky Mountain region. The event transformed the mountain town into a walkable showcase, with brands such as A. Lange & Söhne, Omega, and Hermès occupying boutiques and galleries within a ten-block radius. In Europe, the Geneva Watch Days festival features 71 participating brands with a focus on independent watchmakers. Originally conceived in 2020 as a decentralized response to pandemic restrictions, the event has grown into a major industry gathering. The seventh ~~edition of the event,~~ edition, held from September 2 to 6, 2026, utilized various locations across Geneva, including hotels, boutiques, and showrooms. This iteration showcased nearly 400 new timepieces and attracted over 500 international media representatives, 300 dealers, and more than 2,500 collectors and enthusiasts. Notable presentations included the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Dazzle, a 40mm sandblasted titanium timepiece with a geometric pattern inspired by World War I camouflage, and the Frederique Constant Classics Moneta Handwound, a limited edition of 999 pieces featuring a smoked salmon ~~dial.~~ dial and a La Joux-Perret caliber. Other highlights included the Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Dusk in yellow gold and novelties from MB&F. During the event, several watchmakers unveiled high-complication timepieces.
