Deep Yellow uranium project developments in Namibia

Deep Yellow Limited is advancing its uranium interests in Namibia through infrastructure agreements and strategic divestments of non-core assets.

In late August 2026, the company reached two major milestones for its flagship Tumas Project. Its subsidiary, Reptile Uranium Namibia, secured a long-term water supply agreement with NamWater to support construction and production. Additionally, the company finalized local ownership arrangements by making Oponona Investments a 5% shareholder in Reptile Uranium Namibia, ensuring compliance with national licensing requirements.

By early September 2026, Deep Yellow shifted focus toward its non-core assets. The company entered a two-phase earn-in agreement with Core Energy Minerals Limited regarding the Nova Energy (Namibia) joint venture. Under this deal, Core Energy will commit A$5 million to acquire up to a 51% equity interest in the joint venture, which holds exploration prospecting licenses covering approximately 600 square kilometers near the Langer Heinrich uranium mine. Core Energy will manage the joint venture and fund all exploration operations during the earn-in period.
