Indian archer Dhiraj Bommadevara achieved significant milestones in international competition during September 2026. Initially, Bommadevara won the Archery World Cup Final in Saltillo, Mexico, becoming the first Indian male recurve archer to secure this title. He defeated Japan’s Junya Nakanishi in a five-set match, ultimately winning the gold via a 10-9 shoot-off.
