In early July 2026 RTL announced the fourth season of its reality‑competition “Die Verräter – Vertraue Niemandem!”. A month later the network revealed the two designated “traitors” – former footballer Max Kruse and TV presenter Marijke Amado – and confirmed filming at the Château de Mielmont in Belgium. The season premiered on 3 August 2026 on RTL+ and began linear broadcast on RTL on 17 August at 20:15. For the first time the host, Sonja Zietlow, selected three initial betrayers: Max Kruse, Marijke Amado and comedian Ralph Morgenstern. Eighteen celebrities, including former athletes, actors and influencers such as Cathy Hummels, compete in the castle, divided into “Loyale” and “Verräter” teams. The prize is a silver treasure worth up to €50,000. Episodes air Monday to Thursday on RTL and are also available on Sky, WOW and RTL+. Early episodes have already produced eliminations: Cathy Hummels appeared on the first “death list”, while Max Kruse was confirmed as one of the three Verräter. The cast also includes influencer Ann‑Kathrin Bendixen, Gabriel Kelly and other well‑known personalities, all navigating secret votes, night “murders” and possible role changes as the competition unfolds.
