DIGI Slovakia and Slovak Telekom merger
Overview
DIGI Slovakia has implemented significant service restrictions in preparation for its merger with Slovak Telekom, which is scheduled for September 1, 2026.
As of August 18, the operator has halted all new orders and activations for core services, including satellite, cable, and internet television, internet access, and combined 2Play packages. While existing customers will maintain their current services at original prices and conditions, they are currently unable to modify existing packages, add or remove supplementary services, or order additional terminal equipment.
Following the merger, billing processes will transition to Slovak Telekom. This change will involve new bank accounts and variable symbols for payments starting in September.
