The provincial education system in Ushuaia, Argentina, has introduced the ‘Portal Familias’ and a digital report card system as part of a paperless digital transformation initiative. Building on the 2023 School Management System (SINIDE SGE), which tracks attendance and grades, the new portal allows guardians to securely access student information, including partial grades and attendance. The Juana Azurduy Provincial College is the first secondary institution to implement this stage, with plans to expand the digital report card system to primary education in the near future. This digital transformation tool enables parents to securely access student attendance and partial grades, as well as download digital report cards, with the ultimate goal of reducing paperwork within the provincial educational system.
