Overview

Mexico’s IMSS promoted its free IMSS Digital app for appointment scheduling and record access, while Chile’s Hospital Regional de Antofagasta restructured specialty‑clinic intake to allow patients to bypass cash‑desk queues and move toward fully digital patient flow.
Together, these steps illustrate a coordinated push in Latin America and parts of Europe to digitize health‑service delivery, streamline appointment management, and dramatically reduce patient wait times.
