Dino Polska, a major Polish retail chain, utilizes a vertically integrated business model to manage its meat supply chain. The company’s meat products sold by weight, including various grill cuts, sausages, and kebabs, weight are supplied exclusively by Agro-Rydzyna, a meat processing and distribution company owned by the Dino Polska group. Agro-Rydzyna operates facilities in Kłoda and Jastrowie within the Wielkopolska region. The company purchases half-carcasses from Polish producers and distributes finished products directly to Dino stores, a model that shortens the supply chain. Agro-Rydzyna Agro-Rydzyna, which has operated for over 30 years, accounts for more than 14 percent of the retailer’s network's total sales revenue. Since its 2017 debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Dino Polska has seen substantial value increases. The network currently operates approximately 2,000 stores across Poland. The company’s founder growth has been supported by strategic investments, including a significant 2010 capital injection from Enterprise Investors. Founder and majority shareholder, shareholder Tomasz Biernacki, Biernacki maintains a 51 percent stake in stake. Recent financial reports indicate significant expansion and revenue growth. For the business. first half of the financial year, Dino Polska reported a 12.5% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching PLN 18.0 billion (€4.17 billion). This growth was largely driven by fresh products—including fruit, vegetables, bread, and meat—which accounted for 41.3% of total revenue. In the second quarter, the retailer achieved a net profit of PLN 400.1 million, exceeding market consensus. The company’s physical footprint has grown to approximately 3,176 locations as of June. Additionally, Dino Polska has invested heavily in renewable energy, with photovoltaic installations covering 96% of its network and seven distribution centers, totaling a combined capacity of 126 MW.
