Lawyer Gabriel da Silva Alves went missing in Xique-Xique, Bahia, after leaving a social gathering on August 22. Before his disappearance, he made a phone call to a friend that was described as being “filled with interference,” making his words impossible to understand. On August 27, search efforts by authorities, family, and friends led to the discovery of his motorcycle, glasses, and sandals in a wooded area. Following these findings, the body of the 31-year-old lawyer was located on August 29. ~~The~~ On September 1, the Civil Police reported that initial examinations of ~~Bahia are investigating~~ the ~~circumstances surrounding his death.~~ body showed “no apparent signs of physical aggression,” such as bruising, fractures, or wounds from firearms or blades.
