Disney 2026 holiday season announcements

Overview

Disney has expanded its holiday-themed offerings for the 2026 season across several global regions.

In Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will host ‘A Disney Christmas’ from November 20, 2026, to January 3, 2027. The World of Frozen will be transformed into an Arendelle-inspired winter wonderland featuring festive decorations, music, artificial snowfall, and character encounters with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven. A new festive winter market offering handcrafted goods and seasonal treats will also be introduced. This will be followed by ‘Olaf’s Winterfest’ starting January 5, 2027. Additionally, a new collection of Disney Parks glass ornaments featuring characters such as Mickey Mouse, Disney Princesses, Stitch, Dumbo, and Tinker Bell has been released at the Disney Store.

In the United States, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will host the ‘Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’ on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026. The event includes ‘Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade’ and ‘Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show’; ticket sales for the November 24 and December 22 dates have already sold out. The resort is also offering discounts of up to 20% on select Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms during specific windows in late 2026.

Merchandise updates from the Disney Store include the ‘Holiday Toys We Love’ list—featuring Disney Iconics plush, sports-themed Mickey Mouse and Friends, Cars Die Cast vehicles, and Marvel action figures—as well as a new ‘Toy Story’ collection containing a holiday-themed Buzz Lightyear talking action figure and a 12-day advent calendar.
