Safety concerns also emerged at Disneyland Resort in California following guest incidents on the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride, and in Paris, where visitors waded into decorative fountains to find relief. By mid-August, the National Weather Service continued to issue advisories for Central Florida, noting an “extreme” heat risk characterized by a lack of overnight relief. Heat indices have consistently reached between 105°F and 112°F, maintaining high risks for heat-related illness across all Disney and Universal Orlando Resort properties.
