Disney announced the opening of a 2,300-square-foot pop-up shop at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey. The retail space, located on Level 1, was scheduled to open to the public on September 3, 2026, at 4 p.m. The shop features merchandise inspired by Disney characters and theme parks, including exclusive items such as T-shirts and tote bags with New Jersey-inspired artwork. Disney Store Vice President Patrick Sager noted the pop-up aims to “bring the brand experience to new communities and deepen connections with fans.” The opening represents a return to brick-and-mortar retail for the company following a strategic shift toward digital commerce and the closure of most previous physical locations. The pop-up is expected to remain operational through the 2026 holiday season. This location is part of a new concept called ‘Disney Store Limited Time’, an initiative launched in collaboration with Go! Retail Group. The program focuses on temporary, immersive shopping experiences featuring merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. The Paramus site marks the second such location to open, following a previous launch in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in May 2026.
