The Muppet-themed Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster officially debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26, 2026, following Annual Passholder previews in late May. The rethemed attraction replaced the Aerosmith-themed ride, featuring the Electric Mayhem band, a new pre-show, and a motion-capture Audio-Animatronic figure of Scooter. The ride includes numerous “Easter eggs,” such as Jim Henson memorabilia, references to Muppet*Vision 3D, and celebrity cameos. To manage high expected attendance, Disney implemented several operational changes, including an early park opening on debut day and extended evening hours at Hollywood Studios through August. The coaster’s launch coincided with the Cool Kids’ Summer celebration and previews of upcoming projects like Monstropolis and Drawn to Wonderland. In July, Disney expanded its Good-to-Go program for Annual Passholders, adding multiple reservation-free dates to accommodate summer crowds.
