The Seattle Seahawks have become the first NFL team to integrate Dolby OptiView and Dolby Vision into their digital streaming platforms. Beginning with the 2026 preseason, the technology will be available via the Seahawks Mobile App, Seahawks.com, and through KING 5 using ATSC 3.0 to provide enhanced visual features such as deeper contrast and richer color. Dolby OptiView is a live sports streaming platform designed to reduce latency and provide a more immersive viewing experience. Beyond visual enhancements for games and press conferences, Dolby announced upcoming updates for the platform to be featured at IBC2026. These updates will include new AI-powered intelligence to analyze fan engagement and expanded capabilities for Dolby OptiView Ads, an advertising solution intended to increase monetization for publishers through server-guided ad insertion while maintaining high-quality video playback. Following this implementation, Dolby Laboratories has highlighted a broader expansion of its technology into professional sports and the automotive sector. This expansion includes Google supporting Dolby Atmos through Android Auto for various vehicle brands and Hisense rolling out Dolby Vision 2 on select televisions. Financially, Dolby raised its full-year 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance to a range between $4.25 and $4.40.
