Two separate murder-suicide incidents involving former partners were reported in different regions of Turkey. In the Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş, a 46-year-old man killed his 36-year-old former spouse following an argument. The victim had reportedly obtained a restraining order against the perpetrator after their divorce one month prior. Both individuals were found deceased by emergency services. In the Menteşe district of Muğla, authorities discovered the bodies of Berfin Zelal Kaya and Mehmet Akkaya in an apartment. Police were alerted after Kaya failed to appear for work. Preliminary investigations indicate that Akkaya shot Kaya before taking his own life with an unlicensed handgun. The pair had ended their relationship approximately five months earlier. New reports have provided further details regarding the Kahramanmaraş incident. The perpetrator, identified as A. K., killed his former wife, A. O., in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood using the same weapon for both the murder and his subsequent suicide. Additionally, a third incident of domestic violence was reported in the Ceyhan district of Adana. During a divorce process, 25-year-old Asya Aydoğan was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Yusuf Aydoğan. The suspect also shot and injured his sister-in-law, Medine G., before being apprehended by police.
