In the UAE, DP World plans to develop two new deepwater terminals in Fujairah—the Al Rugaylat container and multipurpose terminal and the Dibba General Cargo terminal—under a 50-year concession. These projects are intended to provide alternative cargo routes that avoid the Strait of Hormuz, strengthening the UAE’s trade infrastructure and extending the Jebel Ali ecosystem.
