The Inspection Générale des Finances (IGF) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its French counterpart have initiated a bilateral cooperation partnership. Supported by the Syndicat des Inspecteurs des Finances (SIF), the initiative focuses on sharing professional experiences, exchanging best practices, and strengthening technical skills. The collaboration aims to modernize audit tools and improve the efficiency of financial controls to enhance the monitoring of public finances, fight corruption, and promote transparency and good governance. The SIF noted that this synergy is expected to enhance monitoring methods and hopes the cooperation will lead to concrete actions to intensify anti-corruption efforts.
