Dubai Chambers SME support initiatives

Overview

Dubai Chambers has initiated several programs to support the growth and digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.

In early September, an initiative was launched through the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform, providing eligible SMEs with one year of free access to Canva Business. This partnership with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy aims to support 250,000 digital SMEs and individuals over five years, with plans for Canva to establish a regional headquarters in Dubai.

Later in the month, Dubai Chambers expanded its support through a memorandum of understanding with Emirates. This partnership focuses on international competitiveness by integrating local businesses into global supply chains via Emirates SkyCargo and Emirates Courier Express. The agreement also includes business travel benefits through the Emirates Business Rewards programme to assist with international expansion efforts.
