Duna TV is implementing programming changes, highlighted by the relaunch of the talk show Ridikül on October 5. Luca Stohl, who recently left ATV, will serve as the new host for the program, which focuses on human-centric topics such as relationships, health, and culture. The relaunch involves a complete production overhaul and a new staff, following the departure of creator Dóra Heatlie after a three-and-a-half-year tenure. Additionally, the network announced a new weekly portrait series titled ‘Közeli’, hosted by Barbara Somossy, which is scheduled to premiere on October 27. The series will feature 27-minute episodes focusing on personal stories from public figures, such as athlete Csaba Kajdi. Following her debut as host, Luca Stohl succeeded Klári Dióssy, who led the show for ten years. Stohl noted she was specifically selected for the role after discussions with the network. Regarding her hosting style, Stohl expressed a desire to establish her own identity rather than imitating predecessors Gabriella Jakupcsek or Dióssy, stating, “I want to give myself, so I don’t want to be either Jakupcsek or Dióssy.”
