Reports regarding Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Three” initially suggested the film would have a shorter runtime than its predecessors, potentially running between 140 and 145 minutes. This shorter length is noted to align with the source material, the novel “Dune Messiah”. The project was described by Villeneuve as his “most personal film”, leaning into the thriller genre. Following these reports, tickets for the film went on sale on September 9. The plot follows the Emperor as he navigates threats, betrayal, and conspiracies involving Chani. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have now announced advance screening dates for the concluding chapter. In Brazil, early screenings are scheduled for December 15 and 16, preceding the official wide release on December 17, 2026. In Italy, UCI Cinemas is offering special preview evenings on December 15, featuring immersive experiences in IMAX, iSense, and XL formats. Pre-sales for these special sessions have officially begun.
