Dutch royalty attendance at Amsterdam Dance Event

Overview

Queen Máxima and Princess Alexia attended several events during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) weekend in October 2026. The pair visited the Hemkade in Zaandam for the ‘Tonno Disko & Friends’ event to see American house DJ Armand van Helden, an artist Princess Alexia specifically requested to see.

Witnesses described the royals as relaxed, noting they danced and mingled with the crowd without strict protocol. DJ Tonno Disko characterized them as ‘the best party guests you could wish for.’ Following the performance, MC Ruben Fernhout facilitated a backstage meeting between the Queen, the Princess, and Armand van Helden.

In addition to the Zaandam appearance, the royals attended a large-scale event at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, where they reportedly sought out DJ Armin van Buuren during a special broadcast.
