East Asia Super League ~~basketball competition~~ 2026-27 season details

The East Asia Super League (EASL) has finalized the group compositions and schedules for its 2026-27 season. Twelve clubs from seven basketball markets—South Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines, and Mongolia—will compete across three groups. Group A includes Alvark Tokyo, Goyang Sono Skygunners, TSG Ghost Hawks, and Zha (Has) Broncos. Alvark Tokyo is scheduled to host its home opener against the Zha (Has) Broncos on October 14, 2026, at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi. Group B consists of Busan KCC Aegis, Macau Hou Chung, Taipei Fubon Braves, and Nagasaki Velca. Group C features Abra Weavers, Hong Kong Eastern, Ryukyu Golden Kings, and Taoyuan Pauian Pilots. The season is scheduled to begin on October 3 at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena in the Philippines. The opening double-header will feature Macau Hou Chung against Taipei Fubon Braves and Abra Weavers against Hong Kong Eastern. The Abra Weavers are noted as the first club from the Philippines' MPBL to participate in the EASL. Ryukyu Golden Kings will play three home games at the Okinawa Sunry Arena against Hong Kong Eastern (November 4), Abra Weavers (December 9), and Taoyuan Pauian Pilots (January 20).
