The male artist collective EBiDAN, managed by Stardust Promotion, achieved significant commercial success with its 15th-anniversary single, ‘Yes! Tokyo’. Initial reports from August 2026 indicated the single recorded over 1.1 million copies in sales via Billboard Japan during its release period. On the Oricon charts, the single reached 921,075 copies within its first two days, marking the highest first-day sales for a single released that year. This performance was supported by a ‘family selling’ strategy involving 15 different CD versions and promotional lottery events. By the end of the first week, the single debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking with 1.053 million copies sold. This milestone represents the first time in two years a single has surpassed the million-seller mark in its first week. To celebrate, the collective launched a collaboration with the YouTube channel ‘THE FIRST TAKE’ and released a series of commemorative movies titled ‘Everyday, EBiDAN’ featuring various groups from the roster. Following this achievement, live footage was released from the ‘EBiDAN THE LIVE 2026 15th Anniversary’ concert, which took place at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium from August 13 to August 16. The event featured ten groups from the collective, including Chotokkyu, M!LK, and SUPER★DRAGON. Members noted that the annual summer concert serves as a vital period for groups to demonstrate growth and compete through performance. The success of ‘Yes! Tokyo’ has also resulted in increased public recognition in urban areas such as Shibuya.
