Egypt is implementing strategies to stabilize its energy sector and increase the economic value of its mineral resources. Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Karim Badawi has prioritized the development of industrial complexes to process phosphate into high-value products, such as phosphoric acid and fertilizers, through domestic fertilizers.
