In the second round of the EHF European League qualifications, PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin defeated KRASOŃ MKS Piotrcovia to advance. After securing a significant advantage in the first leg, Lublin maintained control in the second leg with a 32:27 victory, leading 16:12 at halftime. Piotrcovia was eliminated from European competition. Lublin progressed to the third qualification round to face KGHM Zagłębie Lubin. In a significant Lotto Superliga Kobiet match, Lublin secured a comeback victory against the defending champions with a final score of 29:25. Despite trailing 17:11 at halftime, the Lublin side dominated the second half, outscoring the hosts 18:8. Captain Aleksandra Rosiak contributed 10 goals to the win, while goalkeeper Caroline Martins earned MVP honors. This victory marks the second time this season that El-Volt has defeated Zagłębie Lubin. Following these results, the qualification paths for both Polish clubs have been determined. KGHM Zagłębie Lubin is scheduled to face Terantes Bergen of Norway, while PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin will play SCM Ramnicu Valcea of Romania. The first leg matches are slated for November 7 or 8. In the 2026/27 LOTTO Superliga season, PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin has maintained an undefeated streak, most recently defeating KGHM Zagłębie Lubin 29:25. During this match, Aleksandra Rosiak scored 10 goals and goalkeeper Caroline Martins recorded 12 saves.
