The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has announced its 2026–2027 award winners, marking the 44th year of the program. The selection process utilized a jury of experts from 54 specialized technology publications across 27 countries to conduct in-depth testing in categories such as Hi-Fi, Home Theatre & Vision, Photography, Mobile Devices, and In-Car Electronics. In the mobile category, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra was named the ‘Photo & Video Smartphone 2026-2027’. Developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, the device features a five-camera system with focal lengths ranging from 14 to 230 mm, intended to provide unified imaging performance for both stills and video. In the consumer electronics categories, winners included various Hi-Fi components such as the Paradigm Premier 820F V2, the Radiant Acoustics Clarity 66 for premium floorstanding models, the Triangle Solstice 3 for standmount loudspeakers, and the Wilson Audio Sabrina V. In the Home Theatre & Vision category, the Philips 55OLED811 was named Best Buy OLED TV. In the photography category, Nikon received honors for the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II and the Nikon Z, while Sony was named Camera of the Year for the Alpha 7 V. Sony also secured the ‘Best Macro Lens 2026-2027’ for the Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS and the ‘Best Professional Camera 2026-2027’ for the Sony Alpha 7R VI, marking its second consecutive year winning the Camera of the Year title. Fujifilm also secured awards for the X-T30 III and X-E5 models.
