Electrolux rights issue and continued share buyback

Overview

In mid‑June 2026 Electrolux completed an oversubscribed rights issue, issuing 540.99 million new shares and raising roughly SEK 9.06 billion. The issue lifted total share capital to about 824 million shares across Class A and Class B. Following shareholder approval on 11 June, Neuberger Private Equity Partners Limited began reducing the publicly held Class A pool.

On 15 July 2026 NBPE repurchased 30,000 Class A shares through Jefferies International on the London Stock Exchange at £15.00‑£14.70 per share. The cancelled shares lowered outstanding Class A shares to 40,829,149, with 3,150,408 shares retained in treasury.

A further buy‑back was announced on 30 July 2026, when NBPE bought back 27,091 additional Class A shares at £14.52‑£14.60 each. This transaction reduced the outstanding Class A count to 40,324,728 while the treasury holding remained unchanged. Both repurchases are reported under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

These sequential actions continue to reshape Electrolux’s equity structure, consolidating voting rights and further decreasing the number of publicly held Class A shares after the rights issue.
