Electronic music performances at the Pyramids of Giza

Large-scale electronic music events are being staged at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

In October, the Starlight Festival will host the psy-techno collective Artcore for its Egypt debut. The festival includes welcome and farewell parties in Cairo.

Following this, the Greek-born producer and DJ ARGY is scheduled to perform his NEWORLD live electronic music project at the pyramid complex on November 6. Organized by P+US, a division of Egypt’s Venture Lifestyle group, the NEWORLD production is described as a “theatrical performance concept” combining melodic house and techno with advanced stage technology and ancestral imagery. This event continues a trend of utilizing historical locations for international musical productions at the site.
