Electronic waste collection initiatives ~~are being organized~~ continue across various regions in Poland. In Zelów, the Parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa is hosting a drive through August 24 that accepts large household appliances, small devices, and IT equipment, though light bulbs and toners are excluded. In the Gliwice region, mobile collection events are scheduled for August 22 in Łąkę and Ostropa via EKOMAX vehicles. Residents in these areas also have access to year-round, no-cost disposal at the municipal Selective Waste Collection Point (PSZOK) on Rybnicka Street. Further mobile collection efforts have been announced for Gliwice on Saturday, August 29. Managed by the specialized company EKOMAX, these events will target broken or obsolete electrical equipment, including washing machines, televisions, and lighting devices. Collection points include Trynek, ul. Jasna (near City Hall) from 10:00 to 12:00, and Obrońców Pokoju, ul. Paderewskiego from 12:30 to 14:30. For large appliances, the contractor may offer direct home pickup. Residents may also continue to use the municipal PSZOK at ul. Rybnicka 199B for free disposal throughout the year.
