Lebanese designer Elie Saab has announced a collaborative fashion collection with H&M, scheduled to launch on October 22. The partnership features approximately 55 pieces, spanning from everyday wear to opulent evening gowns, including a wedding dress. By leveraging the designer’s signature romantic and glamorous style, the collection aims to reach a broader audience through more accessible price points compared to Saab’s typical couture creations. For example, an evening dress in Switzerland is priced at 509 francs. The range expands beyond womenswear to include menswear, footwear, and accessories. Design elements characteristic of the haute couture house—such as intricate embellishments, fluid silhouettes, lace, gradient sequins, and sharp tailoring—are integrated into items ranging from floor-sweeping gowns and faux-fur jackets to wearable staples like denim and cotton T-shirts. Globally, the collection will be available through H&M’s online platform and select physical retail locations, including the Ülemiste Centre H&M store in Estonia. H&M Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson described the collaboration as a way to explore the designer’s history, moving from his roots in Beirut to the center of the Parisian fashion scene.
