At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, 93-year-old American actress Ellen Burstyn was honored with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement. The award was granted by the Board of Directors of La Biennale di Venezia following a recommendation by Artistic Director Alberto Barbera.
