Regional employment and public service opportunities continue to expand across Brazil through various municipal and agency-led initiatives. In Goiás, the Penal Police have appointed 404 successful candidates to the state prison system. Recruitment drives remain active in several regions, including 2,302 positions in Mato Grosso, 500 in Araxá (MG), and 151 in Manaus (AM). Recent developments show intensified activity in Campo Grande (MS), where Funsat has released multiple waves of vacancies, including over 1,000 roles across 123 professions and a subsequent 921 vacancies across 121 professions. A special ‘Emprega CG’ job fair was organized to celebrate the city’s 127th anniversary, featuring over 300 exclusive vacancies. Further enhancements to the Labor Market Inclusion Program (PRINT) include a salary increase for workers in the maintenance sector of the Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Services (Sisep). Starting in September, monthly payments will rise from R$ 1,621 to R$ 2,431. Mayor Adriane Lopes also announced that the program’s duration will be extended from two to three years to provide participants with more experience. Additionally, Funsat recently certified 96 PRINT beneficiaries following a professional development cycle. Funsat continues to manage various training initiatives and is conducting itinerant registration drives in different neighborhoods to facilitate access to the program’s reserve registry. Newer initiatives include the Regional Labor Court (TRT-11) launching a mobile justice program across 11 municipalities in Amazonas to expand access to labor rights. In Manaus, the appointment of 371 health professionals following a public competition has been completed. Job distribution efforts have expanded with a massive job fair in Guarulhos offering over 2,000 vacancies, while the Federal District provides 740 positions through worker agencies. In Salvador, the ‘Marias na Construção’ program offers 950 vocational training spots for women in construction.
