The Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), via the State Employment Service (SEE), organized an Inclusion Job Fair in Chihuahua on October 6. Held at the EXPO Chihuahua Convention Center, the event featured more than 80 companies offering over 2,000 vacancies in sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality, retail, health, and private security. Monthly salaries were projected to range from 9,583 to 60,000 pesos, including legal benefits. The fair specifically aimed to support people with disabilities and provided access to free document services from various government agencies, including the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and the Ministry of Health. In addition to the inclusion fair, other employment and professional development initiatives were noted in the region. In Ciudad Juárez, the Universidad Tecnológica de Ciudad Juárez (UTCJ) held its Expo Empléate 2026, which attracted 2,000 attendees and 25 companies, offering approximately 500 vacancies in the industrial, commercial, and service sectors. Furthermore, the La Unión Social de Empresarios de México (USEM) Chihuahua announced a conference titled “El Sentido del Trabajo” (The Meaning of Work), scheduled for October 21 at the Hotel Sheraton Soberano. The presentation, led by Farid Dieck, is intended to encourage reflection on leadership and professional purpose among business leaders.
