The platform is designed to be vendor and model-agnostic, supporting data sovereignty across public clouds, on-premises environments, or customer-owned VPCs to address potential governance gaps in autonomous AI adoption. This development responds to industry concerns regarding governance; a Gartner forecast suggests that by 2027, 40% of enterprises may demote or decommission autonomous AI agents due to governance issues identified after production incidents. Boomi’s solution seeks to mitigate these risks by ensuring data lineage and providing operational control through an AI gateway enforcement layer that mandates human-in-the-loop approvals. Expanding on the focus of sovereignty and orchestration, Airrived has launched its Sovereign AI Platform. This system is designed to allow governments and enterprises to run agentic AI entirely within their own environments, including on-premises or air-gapped infrastructure, to ensure data and intelligence remain under direct user control. Other industry shifts include MathCo transitioning to an AI-native operating model and Coforge introducing an open-weight AI ecosystem to assist organizations in building self-owned AI stacks within multi-cloud environments.
