Entre Ríos provincial infrastructure investments
Overview
Authorities in the Entre Ríos province of Argentina have initiated several public works projects focused on regional connectivity and educational facilities.
In the Federación department, officials inspected infrastructure developments exceeding 665 million pesos, including road improvements such as a new reinforced concrete culvert at the access to Colonia La Argentina, alongside upgrades to school facilities like a new dining hall at school N°15 ‘El Limonar’ and improvements at school N°17 ‘Recuerdos de Provincia’.
Further investment has been directed toward the Villaguay department, where approximately 400 million pesos have been allocated to address building deficiencies at Escuela Nº 82 Teniente General Alfredo Saint Jean and Escuela Secundaria Nº 18 Conscripto Bernardi. These projects are funded by the Comisión Administradora del Fondo Especial de Salto Grande (Cafesg). Governor Rogelio Frigerio noted during the bidding process that over 50% of provincial educational establishments requiring urgent intervention have already undergone works.
Expanding on these educational efforts, the Ministry of Planning, Infrastructure, and Services has launched a public tender for renovation works at the Dr. Luis Agote Integral School (N° 9) in San Salvador. With an official budget of 998 million pesos, the project intends to address structural issues such as roof leaks, obsolete water tanks, sanitary deterioration, and electrical deficiencies. The scope includes 1,950 square meters of work, featuring roof renewal with thermal insulation, kitchen remodeling, and the installation of ramps and stairs to improve accessibility. Bids are scheduled to be opened on November 25, 2026.
