Dutch symphonic metal band Epica has announced several international performances for 2027 to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The band will utilize a ‘Symphonic Synergy’ format, featuring a full orchestra and choir. Initial announcements included a special performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 6, 2027. This event follows previous symphonic productions held in Amsterdam and Mexico City in 2024. Following the London announcement, the band confirmed a South American date for the tour: a performance titled ‘The Symphonic Synergy’ is scheduled for November 20, 2027, at the Vibra venue in São Paulo, Brazil. Further details regarding the ‘The Symphonic Synergy’ European tour have been released, outlining a limited run of 11 dates across 10 European countries. The scheduled itinerary includes stops in Antwerp, Belgium, on September 24; Frankfurt, Germany, on September 25; Prague, Czech Republic, on September 26; Gliwice, Poland, on September 29; and Lisbon, Portugal, on October 11 at Sagres Campo Pequeno. General ticket sales for these dates are set to begin on September 18. Recent updates confirm the full list of European tour locations includes Antwerp, Frankfurt, Prague, Gliwice, Berlin, Milan, Zurich, London, Paris, Madrid, and Lisbon. The recording captures a sold-out performance held at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on September 20, 2024, featuring 20 songs performed alongside a full orchestra and choir. The release also includes a live video for the track ‘Consign to Oblivion’.
