The EPT Barcelona Main Event began with 635 entries on Day 1A, establishing a provisional prize pool of €3,079,750. At the conclusion of the first day, Michael Dwyer held the chip lead. All players remaining in the competition have secured a minimum payout of €81,350 as the tournament approaches the final table.
