Erasmus+ educational mobility in Romania

Educational institutions in Romania have been utilizing the Erasmus+ accreditation program to facilitate professional development and student mobility across Europe.

In late August 2026, reports indicated the successful completion of various projects. In Bistrița-Năsăud County, a consortium project focused on increasing teacher support for vulnerable groups, improving green competencies, and boosting digital skills through mobility in France, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Greece. Additionally, the Liceul cu Program Sportiv in Botoșani concluded a project involving coaching methods to manage student stress and bullying, with participants traveling to Spain, Italy, Greece, and Poland.

By September 2026, the A. T. Laurian National College in Botoșani began implementing its fourth accreditation project for the 2025-2026 school year. This initiative includes student exchanges in France and Poland to foster independence and intercultural communication. Faculty training has expanded to include specialized sessions on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Schools’ in Spain and 21st-century skills in the Czech Republic.
