The Greek broadcaster ERT has introduced new programming and personnel across its channels.

On August 31, ERTNews premiered ‘Choris Filtro’ (Without Filter), a daily news program hosted by journalists Adamantia Lioliou and Velika Karavalsiou. The program is scheduled to air Monday through Friday and aims to provide in-depth coverage of political events and elections.

Following this, ERT announced updates for the ERT1 program ‘Studio 4’. Set to premiere on September 7, the show will be presented by Christos Ferentinos and Katerina Karavatou, alongside Giannis Kordonis, with a focus on balancing news, entertainment, and human interest stories. The production team includes Eirini Arvaniti as chief editor, supported by a group of journalists including Nasos Asimakopoulos, Dimitra Kalfontzou, Fani Platsatoura, Kallia Kastani, Isidoros Fikariss, Alexandra Skaraki, and Vasilis Vlachos.

Prior to the launch, Ferentinos described the new format as a journey through “three eras: the past, the present, and the future,” and confirmed that Michalis Repas would be the first guest. Karavatou noted that preparations were underway to maintain the program’s high standards.

Following the premiere on September 7, Karavatou expressed feeling “happy and grateful” for the opportunity to lead the program. Ferentinos remarked that while he felt nervous during the initial premiere, he felt significantly more comfortable by the second episode. During the broadcast, Ferentinos humorously noted the transition of the show, suggesting the new team had taken over the studio and its iconic furniture from previous presenters Nancy Zambetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos.
