In early May 2026 Finn Balor escalated his on‑screen feud by ambushing former Judgment Day ally JD McDonagh on WWE RAW, then spoke candidly about promo nerves on Stephanie McMahon’s podcast and the strain of being away from family. By mid‑May he affirmed his commitment to WWE despite career milestones, and in early June he moved from Raw to SmackDown, entering the King of the Ring tournament, though he was eliminated in the first round. July saw him discuss past injuries, his Demon persona, and his transition from New Japan to WWE, before announcing the nickname “Finn Friday” and stating his goal of a SummerSlam title match.
