French guidance on ergonomic home‑office furniture, workspace design and delegating domestic tasks set out early recommendations for remote‑worker wellbeing. New data from the Wirtschafts‑ und Sozialwissenschaftliches Institut (WSI) confirms that roughly two‑thirds of Dutch respondents are happy with current hybrid setups, while a quarter would like more home‑office days. Satisfaction is highest when company policies align with employee expectations; rigid return‑to‑office rules and unmet ergonomic needs are linked to higher strain and health concerns, especially in occupations with limited flexibility.

German experts added practical advice on ergonomics and audio quality, recommending external microphones, headphones, adjustable desks, supportive chairs, proper lighting and clutter‑free workspaces to improve comfort and communication. Together, the findings underscore a growing demand across Europe for tailored home‑office solutions that match both legal obligations and employee preferences.
