Lottery jackpots across Europe continue to fluctuate. In Germany, the Lotto 6 aus 49 drawing on September 19, 2026, featured a jackpot of approximately 3 million euros following a 50 million euro win the previous Wednesday. The winning numbers were 14, 15, 29, 32, 34, and 40, with a Superzahl of 9. On September 23, 2026, the jackpot was 5 million euros; one participant matched all six numbers without the Superzahl, earning over one million euros. The September 26 drawing featured approximately 8 million euros, with three winners matching six numbers without the Superzahl, each receiving 703,300.80 euros. The jackpot was then set to rise to 10 million euros for the September 30 draw. By October 3, 2026, the jackpot decreased to approximately 4 million euros and remained unclaimed, though seven participants matched six numbers without the Superzahl, winning 302,528.10 euros each. For the October 7 drawing, the jackpot reached 6 million euros but remained unclaimed for the top two tiers. The Eurojackpot reached its 120 million euro cap following eleven consecutive draws without a top-tier winner, causing additional funds to be directed to the second prize tier. Following the October 9 drawing, a woman from the Wetterau district won 11,558,578.60 euros. In a subsequent Saturday drawing, four participants became millionaires: two matched the approximately 3 million euro jackpot, receiving nearly 1.5 million euros each, while two others matched six numbers without the Superzahl, earning just over one million euros each. For the October 21 drawing, the two highest prize classes each held approximately one million euros. As of October 20, the Eurojackpot pool stood at approximately 18 million euros. On October 12, a single player in Austria won a quadruple jackpot of nearly 4.3 million euros.
